A Tolleson kindergarten educator has been named this week’s Teacher of the Week.
Mr. Moeses Sauceda teaches at Union Elementary.
He was nominated by the mother of one of his students.
“[He] makes sure every student feels good about who they are and confident in their ability to tackle the challenges of learning,” she said.
She said his classroom is a place students feel safe and secure.
“It’s a place of mutual respect, where I have seen my child bloom.”
She said his students share her thoughts.
“He is one in a million and his students love him and feel his passion for his students and education.”
The KNIX 102.5 Teacher of the Week contest is sponsored by Larry H. Miller Chrysler Jeep Avondale and Dairy Council of Arizona.
The weekly winners are entered for a chance to become the Teacher of Year.
