More than 3,500 gallons of milk are being distributed at four Arizona food banks this month. The milk has been generously donated by United Dairymen of Arizona, a dairy co-operative made up of local dairy farm families. UDA has donated milk to food banks for the last three years and is proud to support those in need with one of the most requested, yet least donated food items.

The total donation was 3,512 gallons of milk.

  • 917 gallons delivered to St. Mary’s Food Bank
  • 865 gallons delivered to United Food Bank in Mesa
  • 865 gallons delivered to Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona in Tucson
  • 865 gallons delivered to Yuma Community Food Bank in Yuma

We were at St. Mary’s Food Bank this morning as they were distributing the milk to families in need at their Knight Center which serves roughly 300 families per day.
