Lauren Ifflander, a seventh grade teacher at Bogle Junior High in Chandler has been named this week’s Teacher of the Week.
“She gives up her time before school every day so that kids can study, do homework, or read,” stated the student who nominated her. “She also gives up her lunch and does tutoring in the afternoon.”
Ifflander attends her student’s performances, games and extra activities after school.
“She teaches with enthusiasm, grit, and happiness.”
This is Ifflander’s last year of teaching before she retires.
